Eric Warren LMFT

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Culver City, CA

I walk side by side with my clients on their journey while they maximize their full potential as they navigate the many challenges that come with being a person of color.

I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade where I have been able to obtain various certifications in addition to attaining my license in Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of California. I connect with my client’s encounters with micro-aggressions and constantly being second guessed. I've experienced my own moments of doubt, not because of my own actions but by others' lack of ability to see my worth, due to being a black male.Further, my area of expertise is working with said professionals that face anxiety, as it pertains to operating in work and social settings where they experience self doubt. Due to the infrastructure of being a person of color in America, having the micro-aggressions of being second guessed, and how they internalize to that rejection; excessive/enhanced anxiety and depression are often the catalyst for maladaptive coping behaviors constant experience of feeling you’re not good enough will do that

I help my clients identify deficiencies and build upon their own strengths to allow them to successfully combat identified challenges. Through different types of modalities, being client centered approach, and utilizing treatment modalities I aim to personalize each client’s experience. It is my hope to provide the necessary tools that boost the client's confidence, which will allow them to feel qualified to accomplish any goal they desire to achieve. I strive to instill hope and explore each client’s personal journey of growth, in which they can understand their capacity to be resilient and advance in spaces where they are often overlooked and under-compensated. While building rapport with clients I implement a person-centered approach that involves congruence, empathy and unconditional positive regard. It is my goal as a practitioner to ensure the client develops the skills to be able to overcome obstacles that hinder them from reaching their therapeutic and personal objectives.

I love to watch youtube videos and soak up all of the information from speakers like Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn, and T.D. Jakes!
